Three Stars of Mechatopia (メカトピアの三つ星 Mekatopia no mistuboshi) is the function of robots that made appearance in Nobita and the New Steel Troops ~Angel Wings~. They are star-shaped computer chips with three colors but the fourth one is introduced in the story.
The three stars are computer chips that function as a robot's heart. However, the yellow one that represents competitive instinct eventually caused the robots' evolution to become the same as human and sought out humans to be their slaves. The green star first appeared when Riruru repaired Pippo's system by using her own yellow star, thus turned green which represents her kindness toward Pippo.
Near the end of the story, Riruru used both her red star and blue star, along with the pendant that Shizuka gave her as a substitute for green star, to process the kindness program that overwrites the competitive instinct and changes Mechatopia of the present.

The god professor never really meant to put the yellow star into Mechatopian robots, instead the green star undergone some error into the yellow star which means that the robots has already been controlled over by greediness rather than kindness. It can be seen at the movie opening that the yellow star wasn't made since the beginning of the robot creation.
Thus, the reason behind victory of Mechatopian reprogramming is that Riruru put the green star that ‘has experienced’ more of human things. With that addition, the green star has smaller or zero probability of undergoing error once more which lead into construction of present day Mechatopia.
This is also hinted during the scene when Riruru told Shizuka about history of Mechatopia. In the beginning, the star was green, but when Riruru started to talk about slavery, the star turned yellow that symbolizes how greediness has took over heart of Mechatopian robots.
Even though the stars were removed from the robot, they still can work well without them. This indicates that machine learning concept was applicated during creation of the robots.
