Goodbye, Shizuka-chan is an episode from the Doraemon 1979 anime.

Plot

Feeling hopeless with his life, Nobita decides to cut all ties with Shizuka instead of dragging her with him through the life of hardship. He knows that (he reckons that) he will not be able to afford a good lifestyle, Shizuka will have to give up her bathing passion, their children will not have enough food to eat and he also believes that Gian and Suneo will tease him for being poor.
