Shamate is the main antagonist of Nobita Meets the Masked Queen. She is a sorceress of the so-called "Mask Tribe".
Story[]
Banished from her village due to misusing her powers, Shamate traveled through the wilderness where she located Shizuka, who was sent back in time due to a time machine malfunction and knocked unconscious. Additionally, she noticed the Momotaro Jirushi's Millet Dumplings and the Forgetting Flowers that were in Nobita's backpack and examined their uses. Because Shizuka was exposed to the Forgetting Flower during the time machine malfunction, she had lost her memories of who she was and why she was in the past. Using the amnesia along with the Forgetting Flowers to her advantage, Shamate brainwashed Shizuka into becoming the Red Mask, the leader of the Mask tribe, and served as her adviser. As the Red Mask's adviser, Shamate begin her plan to put an end to hunting and become god using the Millet Dumplings to befriend the wild animals. As a result, the Mask Tribe became corrupted under the Red Mask and Shamate's rule and caused trouble for Mig and her tribe. During this time, Nobita and the gang arrived to look for Shizuka and befriend Mig and her tribe. Shamate reveals herself to Nobita and Doraemon after they fall for a trap and are captured, and almost sacrificed them to a Sabre toothed tiger. However, Gian, Suneo, along with Mig and her tribe arrive to rescue Nobita and Doraemon and they chase Shamate and the Red Mask to the room of gods.
At the Room of Gods, Shamate reveals the Millet Dumplings and Forgetting Flower stash to Nobita and Doraemon and discusses her plan to them. She then unmasks the Red Mask to reveal Shizuka and orders her to kill Nobita and Doraemon. In the struggle, Nobita uses a necklace that Mig gave to him prior to help Shizuka remember him and the promise they made. Infuriated, Shamate uses Nobita's spear and tries to kill him, but Shizuka takes the blow for him. This causes the necklace to emit a green light that envelops the area. In the aftermath, Doraemon uses the Forgetting Flower on Shamate to make her apologize to the Mask Tribe for deceiving them.
